COFFEE MACHINE PRESSURE TESTING - PSSR

We can now offer PSSR Coffee Machine Testing. The HSE's PSS Regulations are in place and are a point of Law and should be considered by Business owners operating any coffee machine with a pressurised boiler. Many of our highly skilled network of Area Representatives can provide PSSR Coffee Machine Testing to ensure pressure system safety compliance in England, Wales and Scotland.

ESPRESSO MACHINE SERVICING

We can offer a range of Espresso Machine Servicing options from a comprehensive “FRONT END SERVICE” from as little as £150, right through to an extensive “FULL SERVICE”.

TYPICAL FRONT END SERVICE: Replacement of Shower Plates. Group Head Seals. Steam Wand Seals. Incidental Gaskets as required. Backflush. Manual Wire Brush Group Head clean. Re-calibrate Grinder and adjust drink settings as required.

TYPICAL FULL SERVICE: Includes “FRONT END SERVICE” as above PLUS – Replacement of Boiler Safety Valve. Anti Vac Valve. Steam and Hot Water valve stem seals/pad seals. Incidental valve rubbers as required. Group Head Acid flush (if needed). Re-calibrate Boiler Pressure Switch and check “Correct Boiler Pressure”. Clean Filter Pans.  

REPAIRS: We can offer a repair service for many of the well known brands of professional Espresso and Bean to Cup Machines. Repair costs can only be established based upon time and parts. An estimate can be given after the appointed engineer in your area has spoken with you about the fault.

 

OUT OF HOURS SERVICE AND REPAIRS

We can offer unique “OUT OF HOURS” Service and Repairs at NO EXTRA CHARGE within a 50 mile radius of Manchester. There would be a slight extra charge outside this area to cover time and extra fuel costs.

 

PLEASE NOTE:  A Service will not necessarily rectify a malfunction. If a fault is found during a Service and a repair is required, then the visit will transfer to a Repair Callout. This will be at the discretion of the Engineer. Callout charges and Parts will be charged accordingly. If the Service work can continue after the repair, then costs will be added based upon the extra time and parts required. Also see note on LIMESCALE below.

 

LIMESCALE AND WATER TREATMENT:  Limescale is a major problem in machines where WATER FILTERS (CTU's) have never been fitted or where FILTER CARTRIDGES are not regularly replaced as required. LIMESCALE can cause permanent damage to a machine. Extensive and costly repairs will be required. Correct WATER TREATMENT is especially important in hard water areas. If LIMESCALE is present due to inadequate WATER TREATMENT, we can take no responsibilty for limescale that may be dislodged during a service causing blockages. A machine in this condition will require a MAJOR OVERHAUL and cannot always be economically saved!  Work required will involve Acid De-scaling of the Boiler and piping. Replacement of damage parts plus the usual work of a FULL SERVICE. A major overhaul cannot be carried out on-site and will involve removal of the machine.

 

WARNING - SERVICE + REPAIR OF SECOND HAND BEAN TO CUP MACHINES

Many Bean to Cups machines these days are much more sophisticated and have to be installed and supported mainly by the Manufacturers. Reason being; either Parts and Service keys are not released to third parties or Independant Engineers couldn't possibly stock all the parts of all the makes and models of Bean to Cup. As a result many elect not to work on Bean to Cups therefore we can't help on Repair and Service of secondhand Bean to Cups. Our advice is get the serial number before purchase any brand of Bean to Cup and speak to the Manufacturers to get an idea of further costs. You could end up paying less in the long run for a brand new Bean to Cup Machine with up to 3yrs Parts + Labour Warranty that is more suited to your daily volumes than a relatively cheap high volume machine not used to its full. Please speak to us to explore the possibilties of purchasing A new Bean to Cup suited to your actual needs. Traditional Espresso Machines are a lot simpler and many parts are generic. We have all our new sales of Bean to Cups such as WMF, Jura and So Pure installed by Manufacturers on our behalf. Although you may pick up a premium high volume Bean to Cup cheaply beware that Manufacturers cost of potentially bringing a machine back into the "Service & Maintenance" fold can be quite expensive.
