There are various "Help Items" links above that can provide information and things to be considered when looking for coffee machines. Ultimately, we are happy to "talk" with you on the phone to help you dispel any confusion you might be having with regards to what's best for your Business. As a quick guide;
The "Starting a Coffee Shop" Articles gives you a "basic guide" of things to be considered when considering a new coffee business. They are not a "step by step" guide but should give you "food for thought" for things to be considered. More detailed planning is going to be unique to your circumstances and business idea and should be discussed with your Business advisors, Accountant and Bank.
"Types of Coffee Machine" is about the two main designs of coffee machines used in a commercial coffee business; Traditional Espresso Machines and Bean to Cup Machines. This link ESPRESSO VS BEAN TO CUP speaks for itself.
"How to Choose Commercial Coffee Machines" goes into a bit more detail on choosing the right coffee machine to suit your operational needs.
So you've decided what's best for your business. There will be some training required and that's explained in the "Barista Training" Help Item. In addition; there's a wealth of information to be found online.
"Service and Repair" So you're up and running and your new machine is working like a dream. However you need to protect your investment. Apart from your daily "house keeping" maintenance and "best practice" when using the machine, you have to consider having your machine Serviced every 12mths. Water Filters need changing as required with the correct grade of filter depending on water hardness. Your machine can last for many years if you look after it.
"Coffee Machine Pressure Testing" So what's this all about? All is explained in great detail in the Help Item. This is an area that can't be ignored, it's a legal requirement as laid down by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE). Whether you ultimately have a Traditional Espresso Machine or Bean to Cup Machine; if it has a pressurised boiler you will need a PSSR Boiler Test once the machine is 14mths old and every year thereafter. It's like a boiler MOT and usually tied in with a Service.
